What are Tree Braids?
Often known as invisible braids, these are a protective style. The concept is that only the ends of the extensions that have been put into the braid are visible, and the braids themselves are hidden. Some ladies, on the other hand, prefer to get the tree braid impression with standard box braid designs.
This braid is preferred over other braided hairstyles such as box braids or twists because it takes less time to put together. Furthermore, because the ends of the hair are left out, you have the freedom to style the length of your hair whatever you choose.
How to Make Tree Braids?
You may use any type of human hair to produce the look. Straight hair or wet and wavy hair are common possibilities. The stylist begins by parting the hair, then installing the hair extension using the cornrow braiding technique, weaving additional sections of hair as they go down. The hair that is woven into the braid is not braided in. They’re left outside of the braid to resemble hair strands. To keep the braid from unraveling, the stylist knows it halfway or shorter. This procedure is repeated all over the head, then finished with an oil sheen spray for shine.
Cornrow Tree Braids: How to Make Them
Starting at the top of the cornrow, the synthetic hair is braided in. A little quantity of synthetic hair is left with each section of the braid while the hairdresser braids the hair; this gives the tree braid its look.
To get the tree braid impression, add extra synthetic hair with each stitch at the beginning of the braid. Make a few stitches in your cornrow to get started.
The Tree braid appearance is achieved by leaving little strands of extension hair out. However, as the stylist progresses down the head, it will become essential to remove existing synthetic hair from the braid rather than adding more, in order to keep the braid from becoming excessively thick. They may be made using Kanekalon braiding hair, human hair, or virgin bulk braiding hair.
To keep the style, customers should sleep with a hair cap or scarf over their heads at night and fingerstyle in the morning.
Braid sprays and oils, on the other hand, are unneeded for this braiding method since synthetic hair retains its gloss. Make sure the braids aren’t overly tight, as this might harm the braids.
Tree Braids: How Versatile Are They?
These are a style that may be worn in a variety of ways. They come in a variety of styles, so there’s something for everyone. They can be curly, straight, in a bob, long, short, and so on. You may also build updo hairstyles with the braids if desired; however, individual braids will make updo looks easier to achieve.
How Long Do Tree Braids Last?
They may be dressed up or down, can be worn when exercising, and can even be swum in. These may last up to six weeks if properly maintained. Around the five- or six-week point, most women take them down.
Who Are Tree Braids Suitable For?
For coarse hair types ranging from 3A to 4C, tree braids are an excellent choice. The style is equally at home with natural, relaxed, or transitional hair.
For people with sensitive scalps, the style shouldn’t be too uncomfortable, but always warn your stylist if they’re braiding too tightly. This is not only inconvenient, but it may also lead to unneeded breakage.
